Students who planned how they’d study scored a third of a letter grade higher. (Chen et al., 2017)
Set your exam date. lezrn brings each idea back right before you'd forget it, so nothing slips through.
With the right gap between reviews, people remembered more than twice as much 10 weeks later. (Cepeda et al., 2008)
Ask anything about your lesson, any time. Or let the tutor walk you through it on a whiteboard, out loud.
Students with a step-by-step AI tutor learned twice as much, in less time. (Kestin et al., Harvard, 2025)
Quick quizzes and flashcards on every lesson find your weak spots, and explain them, before the exam does.
Testing yourself: 80% remembered a week later, vs 36% from restudying. (Karpicke & Roediger, 2008)
Rereading won't fix a concept you can't picture. Mind maps, diagrams and interactive explainers make it click.
Words plus pictures beat words alone in 11 out of 11 experiments. (Mayer, 2009)
Teach it back in your own words. lezrn spots what's missing, so you know you've really got it.
Explaining it in your own words boosted learning across 64 research reports. (Bisra et al., 2018)

Question 3 of 10
A patient on warfarin starts a new antibiotic. Which lab value tells you whether the anticoagulation has changed?
A.INR
B.aPTT
C.Platelet count
D.Serum potassium
Warfarin's effect is tracked with the INR. The aPTT is the test for unfractionated heparin.

Lesson 2 · Why it matters
Say a scan shows that a drug has wiped out 99% of the cells in a tumor. That sounds like a win.
But the tumor in a man with stage III colon cancer holds about a billion cells. One percent of a billion is ten million cells, still alive and still dividing.

Question 1 of 10
Which property allows cardiac pacemaker cells to spontaneously generate an electrical impulse without any external stimulation?
A.Automaticity
B.Conductivity
C.Contractility
D.Excitability
Automaticity is the ability of pacemaker cells to depolarize spontaneously and initiate an impulse on their own.

Lesson 4 · The idea
Every day your kidneys filter about 180 liters of plasma, yet you pass only about 1.5 liters of urine.
The other 99% is pulled back into the blood as the filtrate runs along the nephron: water, salt, glucose and everything else the body still needs.
Glomerular filtration rate (GFR)
How much plasma the kidneys filter each minute. About 125 mL in a healthy adult.

Question 6 of 8
A patient has a midshaft fracture of the humerus. Which nerve is most at risk?
A.Axillary nerve
B.Radial nerve
C.Ulnar nerve
D.Median nerve
The radial nerve runs in the spiral groove along the shaft, so a midshaft fracture can cause wrist drop. The axillary nerve is at risk at the surgical neck.

Lesson 11 · The idea
Along the inferior border of every rib runs a set of three structures: an intercostal vein, an artery and a nerve. Together they are the costal neurovascular bundle.
They sit in a shallow groove on the underside of the rib, tucked under its lower edge. From top to bottom the order is vein, artery, nerve. Some people remember it as VAN.
Costal neurovascular bundle
The intercostal vein, artery and nerve running under each rib's lower edge.

Lesson 3 · Why it matters
The first time your immune system meets a vaccine, it takes one to two weeks to make useful antibodies.
Along the way it leaves memory B and T cells behind. Meet the same antigen again and they answer within days, with more antibodies that bind more tightly.
Secondary immune response
The faster, stronger reaction to an antigen the immune system has seen before.

True or false
In the Northern Hemisphere, tides circulate clockwise around an amphidromic point because of the Coriolis effect.
A.True
B.False
In the Northern Hemisphere, Coriolis deflection makes tides circulate counterclockwise around amphidromic points.

Five techniques with decades of research behind them. All built in.
